An Intro to our family....
Ammon: Ammon is 26 years old is is the youngest of 6 kids. He works at a heating and air conditioning company that is based out of Orem. He is over all of the new construction. He is also attending UVSC in the evening. He loves to backpack, fly fish, snowshoeing, visiting family and being an Uncle of 15+ cute kids! Ammon has just found the new sport of paintballing he plays with a group of guys from work almost every Saturday morning. I have decided that he is very dedicated to this sport to sacrifice his only day to sleep in. Ammon works hard at everything is does.
Liz: I am also 26 years old and I am the 3rd of 4 girls. I work at Technical College in Spanish Fork. I teach 3 different classes in one classroom Medical Front Office, Dental Front Office and Medical Billing and Coding. I can't really lecture to the whole group because to many different thing are going on at the same time so what I do are mini lecture throughout the week. I love my job and feel very blessed to be able to work in a great enviroment with great people. Some of my hobbies are Sewing, Embroidery, cooking, snowshoeing and backpacking with the fam. Oh and I should add I love to shop!!
Our story.... Ammon and I graduated from High school in 2000. We would go snowshoes every so often and I asked him to Sadie Hawkins our senior year. We went bungie jumping for the first time and then we ate at the Mayan (at this time it had just opened so it was a hug deal to be able to go). We double with my best friend Liz Hansen and her date Robbie Winn.We just laugh the whole time. After graduation we went our seperate ways I went up to Logan to attend Utah State University and Ammon continued to work and went on a mission to Washington DC South and later was transfered over to the Baltimore mission. About 3 years had gone by before we would meet up again. When Ammon got home he was under the impression that I was already married. (At the time he left for his mission I was almost engaged). Erin at the time was in my moms ward and had relayed the message to Ammon that I wasn't and to give me a call. He had called my home a few weeks after that and talked to my dad and my dad gave him my number up in Logan. What my dad didn't know was that the area code on my phone was 801 and not 435. Ammon tried and called and of course didn't get through a few more week went by and Ammon didn't have any luck getting a hold of me. Until one weekend I had gone home for something and my dad had mentioned that Ammon Ashby called so I tried to call him back and finally got a hold of each other. Our first date was on Valentines day we went up to middle canyon and went snowshoeing later that evening we decided to go to a movie with Ammon's friend Danny. We had first gone over to Ammon house and everyone was there (Rodney, Amy, Baily, Erin and Travis, and Canyon) it was Amy's Birthday so they were all playing games and eating treats. I remember having green ice cream slush. After that we were off to the movies "Miricle". From that point one we emailing each other, talking on the phone and driving back from Logan to Tooele and Provo to Tooele every weekend for the next 7 months. We were married in August 2004 in the Salt Lake Temple.
